Drivers faced travel chaos after a lorry smashed into the central reservation and jackknifed near Tonbridge.
One lane remains closed in both directions on the A21 between the A26 junctions.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time for their journeys, although traffic is coping well.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: "Officers are at the scene of a collision on the A21 involving a lorry.
"The vehicle has collided with the central reservation in the London bound carriageway close a slip road leading from Tunbridge Wells.
"Lane closures are currently in place on both carriageways.
"There are no reported injuries."
