A charity shop has been given a face lift thanks to the help of four volunteers.
Andrew Alaka, Ben Brophy, Mihir Patel and John Flynn, who all work for the Royal Bank of Scotland Group in London, travelled to the Demelza House charity shop based in Strood High Street to paint walls, lay carpet and gloss woodwork over a two day period. They also replaced slats in the shop shelving.
Vikki Thompson, shop manager, said: “They did an excellent job. It looks lovely and we’re open for business as usual.”
