Gillingham boss Peter Taylor will have to make one change to his defence this weekend and hopes it won’t be two.
Central defender Kortney Hause is a definite absentee as he is on international duty with England’s under-20 squad in the Netherlands.
But Taylor will be hoping he won’t have to make do without fellow central defender John Egan as well.
Egan picked up a knock during Gillingham’s League 1 defeat at Notts County last Saturday.
He wasn’t risked on Tuesday in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy as Taylor selected Leon Legge and Callum Davies at the back.
Taylor said: "John had a little bit of a knock and we couldn’t take that risk.
"We had to be a little bit careful with Doug Loft and his Achilles and I wasn’t prepared to take the risk.
"Luke Norris and Cody McDonald are fine and I hope Egan is as well."
