NEITHER striker Rod Wallace nor defender Barry Ashby, who both missed Saturday's friendly at Gravesend with groin strains, will be risked by Gillingham in tonight's friendly at Sussex County League Burgess Hill.
But striker Tommy Johnson, who made his debut in Saturday's second-half, will be given a longer run out. Adrian Pennock, who continued his comeback from serious injury at Gravesend, also plays tonight.
Providing there are no further injury setbacks, manager Andy Hessenthaler expects to name his side for Saturday’s opening league match away to Wimbledon on Thursday.
