Woman charged with drink driving after crash in Darwin Avenue, Maidstone

A woman has been charged with drink driving after a car crashed into a home.

Police were called out to Darwin Avenue in Maidstone just before 7pm on Friday, May 24 after a grey car collided with a skip and a house.

Five police cars and a fire engine were called out to the scene.

There were no injuries, but two people were arrested.

Michelle Gribbin, 39, of Pembury Court, Sittingbourne was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.

She has now been charged with failing to provide a sample for analysis, driving without a licence and no insurance.

She has been bailed to appear at Maidstone Magistrates Court on June 28.

A 40-year-old man has been released without charge.
