New date for Armour's world title defence

THE date of Jonnny Armour's world title defence has been switched to Saturday, February 16. The Chatham-based boxer was due to defend his WBU bantamweight crown against Francis Ampofo on Monday, January 28, but the fight has been put back with the venue still to be decided.

Armour is still hopeful of having the fight at Chatham Dockyard and is hoping to hear something before he sets off to Liverpool to concentrate on his training.
