McPhee says his family must come first as he considers his future

Ebbsfleet's Wembley hero Chris McPhee has revealed he could quit the club this summer – if a Football League team come in for him.

The 24-year-old will go down in history as the man who scored the winning goal for the Fleet in the FA Trophy final.

But McPhee is still considering his options and will sit down with manager Liam Daish in the hope of agreeing a new deal to keep him at Stonebridge Road.

The former Torquay man is out of contract and revealed: "I’m engaged to my girlfriend Susie and I’ve got to think about my family now. It’s not just about me. I’ve got to make the right decision for the future, for me and my family.

"My future wife is living in north Devon and I’m living in Sussex. We’ve got to work out where to live.

"I’m going to be sitting down with the manager to talk about what he wants and what I want. I hope to stay at the Fleet. There are a lot of things to talk about."
