Gillingham will be on the hunt for new recruits this week when the transfer window for loan players opens.
The Gills failed to bring in number one target Lloyd Owusu on a permanent basis, but will now turn their attention to the loan market in a bid to bolster their attack.
Despite winning their last three games assistant manager Scott Barrett insists the Gills will keep looking for new talent – and is confident chairman Paul Scally will continue to back them.
“As I’ve said before, If we can bring players in who can improve the squad and the chairman makes funds available then we will do so,” he said.
“If it was the right player and the manager decides he wants him I’m sure the chairman would back him.”
