Ebbsfleet picked up their second win of the Blue Square Bet South season with a 3-0 away win at Bishop's Stortford.
A goal in each half from Michael West laid the foundations for a second away win in a week.
After the early loss of Scott Ginty through injury, West got himself onto the end of a dangerous cross from debutant Tom Phipp, to tuck home on 11 minutes.
But, soon after, the home side were awarded a penalty when Chris Henry fouled Reece Prestedge on 18 minutes. However, Preston Edwards proved more than equal to former Fleet man Scott Schulton's spot kick as he palmed the effort away from goal in front of the travelling fans.
Ram Marwa then punished the home side's miss on 32 minutes to put Ebbsfleet 2-0 ahead. His first goal for the club was a well-judged volley from Derek Duncan's cross.
Fleet kept control of the game after the break and sealed an impressive perfomance on 63 minutes. West once again the man to find the back of the net, after latching on to a long free kick to send a looping header past keeper Nick Morgan.
The result moves Ebbsfleet into fourth in the table after three games.
