A popular teenager who died in a crash this morning has been described as "one in a million".
Casey Hood, 18, died at the scene in Womenswold, near Canterbury, while a second woman was taken to hospital with critical injuries.
An outpouring of emotional tributes from heartbroken family and friends have been left on social media to the popular former Canterbury Academy pupil.
Two other male crash victims are in a stable condition in hospital following the incident involving a Toyota Yaris at Denne Hill at around 3.50am.
Writing on Facebook, Chelsea Jade Webb said: "RIP Casey Hood you will always be in my heart life’s so cruel. What a beautiful inspirational young lady you become before you were ripped away from us. Love to you always."
Jess Pile posted: "I can’t believe I’m writing this. Casey Hood you was a one in a million, the laughter on my night out I can’t describe the hole you’ve left in everyone’s heart.
"You was so funny, so smart, so kind."
Shocked friends are expected to meet at a pub in Dover this evening in memory of Casey.
Kayleigh Hague wrote: "Casey Hood such a beautiful person, so full of life, I can’t believe it, so loved too. Always you were living your best life, heart breaks for everyone who was lucky enough to have even a glimmer of you in their lives."
Kat Rainbird said: "All the times we done your hair, read you stories, took you to the park and the shop for sweets I never imagined this in a million years - totally shocking."
Clare May Rainbird described the teenager as a "beautiful soul never to be forgotten".
The car which Casey was in had been previously drawn to the attention of police when it was parked on the A2 slip road towards Adisham Road. Officers found the crashed car later in the night.
Paramedics, fire crews, police and an air ambulance attended the scene early this morning.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the Toyota prior to or at the time of the collision, or who have dashcam footage to get in contact.
Witnesses should call the appeal line on 01622 798538 quoting 14-0130.
